Consumer Rights Protection Center recommends that consumers request experts, consultants or specialists to include the following mandatory information in their reports:

  • the date and place of the document's preparation;
  • the name, surname, education and specializations of the expert, consultant, or specialist;
  • the name and surname of the consumer;
  • the name of the product or service;
  • the cause and significance of the identified defect;
  • the degree of depreciation of the product;
  • the signature of expert, consultant, or specialist.

A document prepared in this manner can serve as evidence to support the consumer's opinion about the non-conformity of the product or service with the terms of the contract. It would also be useful in cases where the consumer submits an application for dispute resolution to the Consumer Dispute Settlement Commission.
